Earthing Solutions is a Silver Sponsor of A Bear Affair, the annual gala ball to raise funds for the Sydney Children’s Hospital paediatric palliative care programs at Bear Cottage.

Dave and Gillian Gale attend A Bear Affair every year in memory of their grandson, Archie-David who was born with Pontocerebellar Hypoplasia, a rare neurological disorder. Archie’s aunt, Rhiannon Gale-Tiwari, said, “Bear Cottage allowed our closeknit family to create a home away from home while spending time with Archie. It allowed my sister, Nadine, to be a mummy to Archie, and his older brother William, and to have a small break from being a carer 24 hours a day. Archie went to the rainbow two weeks before his first birthday, but he was and still is the sunshine of our lives.”

Earthing Solutions purchased three tables at A Bear Affair 2025, two for family and friends and one that they donated to the nursing staff at Bear Cottage. Gillian Gale also volunteers on the Bear Affair Committee, the organising committee for the gala event. Since its inception, A Bear Affair has raised more than $7 million to support paediatric and palliative care programs at Bear Cottage.
