Supply and installation of isolation transformer including:

• 2 x 4.8m and 2 x 2.4m electrodes c/w 70mm2 cable – for termination to low voltage transformer switch gear
• 4 x heavy duty electrode pits – with testing and stainless steel labelling
• 3-pole FOP testing and report

Supply and installation of feeder poles including:

• 2 x timber feeder poles
• 2 x 15m electrodes c/w 25kV heat shrink – drilled and installed in rock
• batten covers
• 3-pole FOP testing and report

The Challenge:

The project was carried out in a restrictive site adjacent to live rail. Specialist drilling equipment was needed to maintain safe distances from the live track. Earthing Solutions were required to have authorised rail training and we had a dedicated protection officer.

Result:

The client was very happy with the outcome, with the job being completed safely and according to their requirements.
