Supply and installation of a separate earth grid for Ausgrid Chamber Substation including drilling of 5.4m electrodes in the Level 3 basement of the building.

Challenge: The site access was very tight and specialised drilling equipment and additional ventilation was required for the installation of the earth grid components. Earthing Solutions’ 105 drill rig was purpose-built for such installations and was perfect for the job.
