Supply and installation of 12m-deep electrodes in rock substrate for overhead earthing.

Challenge: To reach the drilling location, the drilling equipment had to be craned over de-energised traction lines under Sydney Trains possession.

The project really highlighted the versatility of Earthing Solutions’ compact drilling equipment. Despite its size the drill is capable of drilling down to 20m depths in any conditions.

Result: The project was completed successfully to the design requirements and the step-touch potential recommendations.
